Get up and get out!

Hey everyone! I have had some awesome feedback regarding the last blog, so keep it coming! A couple of things I want to focus on as the great weather is upon us.....take advantage of it! I want everyone to try something new this Spring. As the New Year turned, I wanted to get out more and travel. That was a personal goal for myself. It was not only to see different things, but to also give myself a break. The best advice I got from my 12 year old client was a reason why she received a Juicy Couture bag for making the Honor Roll, "because I deserve it!" Damn skippy! We all deserve a "Juicy Couture bag" of some sort.

The next goal was a nutritional goal. Something new that I could do. April 5th is the opening of the local Farmer's Market. I can't tell you how many times I told myself that I was going to go there....haven't been there once. Well, come April 5th, I will be. It's outside, you're helping local farmers, and getting produce on the fresher side, so why not? WHICH BRINGS ME TO MY NEXT POINT-eat things in moderation....PLEASE! I don't expect anyone to not eat a burger at a cookout or wash it down with a glass of water. Yes, have fun, but don't go nuts. If you use your weekend as a crutch to have fun and indulge a bit, you are breaking even with all the hard work you put in during the week. Just be careful.

I challenge you to not only get your own "Juicy Couture bag" but also do a little spring cleaning of your own. So let me know...what do you plan to do different this Spring?

  1. I've lived in Northern VA for 9 years and have not taken advantage of the natural beauty of the state - I got an annual pass to Shenandoah National Park in October and I've been once. Goal is a new hike every other Sunday!
